Occupational Health and Safety Management System

By integrating a management system for health and safety at work, companies provide workplaces that are safe and not harmful to health, prevent work-related injuries and illnesses, and continuously improve their performance with regard to occupational health and safety.

ISO 45001:2018 specifies requirements for an occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system, and gives guidance for its use, to enable organizations to provide safe and healthy workplaces by preventing work-related injury and ill health, as well as by proactively improving its OH&S performance.

What is tested and evaluated?

  • Effective processes for determining hazards, monitoring and assessing risks
  • Taking opportunities with regard to health and safety at work
